Careers
A Flinders law degree will open many doors, but we know not all will lead to a courtroom. While some students will become the judges and prosecutors of tomorrow, others will chart their course in business, diplomacy, social justice and human rights. Our graduates work all over the world.
Potential occupations include:
- lawyer
- federal prosecutor
- graduate analyst
- graduate policy officer
- graduate solicitor.
Professional accreditation/recognition
Successful completion satisfies the academic and practical requirements underpinning eligibility to be admitted as a barrister and solicitor in South Australia.
When applying for admission to practise law, you will need to satisy the Board of Examiners that you are a ‘fit and proper person to be admitted’. You will also be required to give written authority for the Board of Examiners to seek a written report about you from Flinders University and any other teaching institution at which you have pursued a course of study (including degrees other than law).
